Op-Shop

Saint Peter’s Op Shop opened in November 2017 and has grown from strength to strength.   A wonderful team of volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that the Op Shop offers a wide range of well presented items including bric-a-brac, clothing, books, etc, with a fast turnover of items ensuring that new items are constantly available.

The Op Shop has many facets – it is an outreach program that helps our community, by recycling donated goods we reduce the amount of items going to landfill, and income helps support maintenance of our beautiful St Peter’s Church.

Bargains Galore

Our Op Shop is open every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 9 am to 1 pm and Friday 9 am to 3 pm. Located at the rear of the Parish Hall and accessed from Banks Street, there is plenty of off street parking adjacent to the Op Shop.

We offer a wide variety of goods – clothing, household items, books, children’s toys, games, Manchester, general bric-a-brac, etc.   All goods are pre-sorted to ensure that only quality items are offered for sale.    Our prices are very competitive – we rely on a quick turnover of items in the shop that is best achieved by offering quality goods at a bargain price.

Having a Clear Out?

We are always happy to receive donated items – if you are having a clear out at home and have items that can be re-homed, please bring them to the Op Shop where they will be very much appreciated.

Got Spare Time?

The Op Shop is staffed by volunteers – if you have some spare time and are interested in helping out, please speak to any of the staff at the Op Shop and they will be happy to provide you with details of how you can become involved.
