Community Meal
Saint Peter’s offers a FREE Community Meal every Thursday at 4.30 pm at the Parish Hall, located at 52 Banks Street, East Maitland. Cooked and served by a team of volunteers, a two course meal is provided. Many people come every week while others prefer to come on an occasional basis.
The Community Meal is fortunate in receiving generous support from OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation that collects quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivers it directly to organisations supporting people in need across the country, including our own Community Meal.
We welcome all those who come along – just turn up and you will be made most welcome.
During the Covid-19 situation the Community Meal is not taking place. We hope to re-start this as soon as Government restrictions are lifted.
