Saint Peter’s Op Shop

Saint Peter’s Op Shop runs three days a week (9am – 4pm Thursday and Friday, and 9am – 1pm Saturday) at the rear of the Parish Hall at 52 Banks Street, East Maitland.   Parking is available adjacent to the Op Shop making it easy to load up with goodies and put them straight into your car.

The bargains are plentiful and the stock varied – including clothing, bric-a-brac, toys, books, manchester, and much much more.

Price are kept low to ensure a fast turnover of stock, with only quality items put up for sale.

Run by a hardworking team of volunteers, all funds raised go towards supporting the maintenance of Saint Peter’s Church.

Craft Group

The Saint Peter’s Craft Group began in April 2017, ably led by Christine Butler.  The group meets in the Meeting Room adjacent to the Parish Hall at 52 Banks Street, East Maitland, on the 1stand 3rdTuesday of each month from 10 am – 2 pm.   The range of crafts is extensive, including Quilting, Embroidery, Knitting, Card Making, Drawing and Painting.

Members of the group are encouraged to bring along whatever craft they are working on and to share their skills and knowledge with other group members.

The Craft Group is open to anyone who is interested – we are always interested to see the range of crafts being worked on and to pick up hints and tips along the way.   An ideal way to socialise with others and devote some time to your craftwork.
